Download Information

Before downloading

Please check your system for and disable any of the following:

  • Firewalls. These are designed to stop downloads from non-approved sites.
  • Anti Virus Programs. These will try to stop or scan a download. It may cause the download to be corrupt or damaged.
  • Download Monitors. Programs such as GoZilla! and NetZip are not compatible with our server and may block or stop downloads.
  • Screen Savers. In some instances, screen savers can interfere with the download process. If you have a screen saver that is starting while you are downloading, please disable it temporarily until your download is complete.

How to start the download process

You can download by either clicking the 'download' button on your order information page or by right clicking on the 'download' button and choosing 'Save Target As' in Internet Explorer, 'Save Link As' in Firefox, or 'Download Linked File As' in Safari.

Choosing a location for the downloaded file

You can download the file anywhere you like, just make sure that you remember the location where you saved it, and the name of the file. If you choose Desktop this will be easier for you to install the product once you have completed the download.

Monitoring the download process

Once the download starts, you will see a box pop up with a status bar, and a percentage that will climb to 100%.

After the download process

After the download has completed, you will need to go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file icon to start the installation. Contact Technical Support if you require any assistance: techsupp@quark.com.

Locating the product serial # and/or validation code

If your product has a serial # or validation code, you can find this identifier in your confirmation e-mail. If you do not have your confirmation e-mail, you can also retrieve your serial number or validation code by logging into your account and viewing the order details of your purchase under the Order/Billing History section: View Order Details.

If your serial number and/or validation code is not working, make sure you have the correct serial # or validation code. You can retrieve your serial number or validation code by logging into your account and viewing the order details of your purchase under the Order/Billing History section: View Order Details.

Re-downloading software that has already been purchased

To re-download software you have already purchased, you will need to login to your account and view the order details of your purchase under the Order/Billing History section: Download Your Software.

If the download stops or is interrupted

This site provides downloads that adheres to the HTTP 1.1 specification that allows for re-startable downloads. Therefore, if your download stops or is interrupted before it is complete, simply press the begin download button again and the download should resume where it left off. The difference between downloading and installing

A download is a simple file transfer. Installation is the unpacking and loading of the software. Most software walks you through this process once you've successfully downloaded the file from our site.
